30 For 30 Challenge: Day 9

1 Peter 2:9

9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
Your task today is a little different from previous days. Today, you're going to take some time to think and reflect about where you see God working in the world around you and prayerfully determine where you can discover your purpose through joining God where He already is.

You're going to do this in a few steps.

Step 1:
Stop and pray before you do this. Pray that God would reveal to you where He is working around you and help guide you in thinking about how you can join His mission. This is an important step. Don't skip it

Step 2:
Take a second to think about how you described your passions, Personality, and Gifts in Day 8.

Step 3:
Identify your purpose. Think about the world around you. Think about where you see God's rescue mission present and active. For me I see God working in the youth group. Generation Z as a whole, and I people longing for God. Now think about places where God seems to be absent in people's lives. This may be family, friends, or even co-workers. Think about how you can use your passions, personality, and gifts for God's glory. This is your purpose. Think about this.

Step 4:
Act. Get involved. Follow through. Take your faith to another level by living out your purpose using the skills and interests God has given you to make a difference for Him. This means serving, being involved in church, and building Godly relationships around you. If you truly want to grow in your faith you need to surround yourself with those who will help you and encourage you to do so. If you surround yourself with those that draw you away needless to say you will do just that.
